Ivan's Quilt

I know you can not get see it so well, but Ivan is laying on his very cool quilt that Aunt B made for him. Now Aunt B informed us that this quilt is to be used and let me tell you-we have used this quilt! Ivan enjoys a little play time on this quilt daily and has probably spit up on every inch of it. At first we didn't really want to use it becuase we thought it was way to nice to ruin, but Aunt B was very insistent that we use it as a normal blanket. We did put it in his room as a decoration for a while, but now Ivan loves to play on it. Aunt B-we may be taking you up on the life time repair service you told us about!

Ivan's new friend

First of all, I have a new love-a white long sleeve onsie with a polo! I know it sounds silly, but as I have said before I absolutley LOVE dressing Ivan every day. It is like I am a little girl again, dressing my doll baby. I used to enjoy buying myself new clothes, but I have found that Ivan looks much better in new clothes than I do. So, now I walk right past the women's section and head straight for the baby clothes. I feel kind of like a kid in a candy store-it is so much fun!

Now, I would like you to meet Mallory the Monkey. Grandma Preston (my mom) bought this adorable monkey for Ivan and I think Ivan really likes her. I think he has found a friend in Mallory!

Bumbo

Ivan is becoming quite the big boy lately. He is now able to hold his head up long enough to sit in his bumbo. I know, he probably should not be sitting on the counter while in his bumbo, but he really enjoys the view while we make dinner and I promise that we have one eye on him at all times! I think he enjoys being at our level and feeling like a big boy!

3 months

Here are just a few of our favorite photos from Ivan's 3 month photo shoot. Mike's VERY talented sister took all of these photos. We could not be happier with the way they turned out! Ivan was very into his hands and tongue during the photo shoot. We had a hard time keeping his hand off of his face and his tongue in his mouth. I think they made for some great pictues though! I Love Mommy

So, I have been a little obsesed with clothes that have the word "mommy" on them! I have absolutely loved every second of being a mom and I feel the need to advertise how much love we have for each other on my little guys chest. He is kind of like a little billboard! I have lucked out because they sell so many boys clothes that say mommy on them, but we can not seem to find too many that say daddy. I think I would put him in this outfit every day if I could! Daddy thinks it is funny to cover it up with an "I love Daddy bib"

First Valentine's Day

Ivan celebrated his first Valentine's Day by sporting one of his bibs that his Grandma Dahn sent him. He was so very excited to get a package from her in the mail that included 3 bibs and some McDonalds coupons. We were also very exicted to celebrate our first Valentine's Day with our little man!

We also attempted to take a picture of Ivan laying in a bed of candy hearts. The photos did not turn out as well as we hoped and Ivan did not care much for the candy hearts. I guess we will leave the creative photography to Auntie M!
